ARCO Rights

In compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), Meet Digital Services informs you of your rights regarding your personal data and the procedure for exercising them. For full details on how your data is processed, please also review our Privacy Notice and our Terms & Conditions.

1. What Are ARCO Rights?

ARCO Rights are a set of rights recognized by the LFPDPPP that allow you to maintain control over your personal data held by private entities. The acronym ARCO stands for Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition. These rights are personal and may only be exercised by the data subject or by their duly accredited legal representative.

2. Right of Access

The Right of Access allows you to know what personal data we hold about you, the purposes for which it was collected, the conditions of how we use it, the source of your data, any transfers that have been made or are planned, and any other relevant information about the processing of your data as required by the LFPDPPP.

When you exercise this right, you will receive a response describing the personal data in our records, the purpose of its processing, and, where applicable, the third parties to whom it has been transferred.

3. Right of Rectification

The Right of Rectification allows you to request the correction of your personal data when it is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or otherwise incorrect. To exercise this right, you must specify the data you want corrected and, where possible, provide supporting documentation that substantiates the correct information.

4. Right of Cancellation

The Right of Cancellation allows you to request that your personal data be deleted from our records or databases when:

  • The data is no longer needed for the purposes that justified its collection.
  • You consider it is not being processed in accordance with the principles of the LFPDPPP.
  • You have revoked your consent to the processing.
  • The data should be canceled because the legal relationship between you and the Company has concluded.

Please note that cancellation may not be granted where the data is needed to fulfill legal or contractual obligations, or for the defense of rights in judicial or administrative proceedings.

5. Right of Opposition

The Right of Opposition allows you to object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes, in particular when:

  • The processing is carried out for advertising or commercial prospecting purposes.
  • You have legitimate grounds relating to your particular situation that justify the objection.
  • The processing causes harm or prejudice to your interests, rights, or fundamental freedoms.

6. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of your ARCO Rights, submit a request by email to: privacidad@meetdigitalservices.com.

Your request must include:

  • Your full legal name as the data subject.
  • A copy of a valid official government-issued ID (national voter ID card, passport, professional license, or equivalent document issued by a competent authority).
  • A clear description of the right you wish to exercise (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition) and the specific personal data to which your request relates.
  • For Rectification requests: the specific corrections requested and supporting documentation evidencing the correct information.
  • For Opposition requests: the reasons justifying your request and the specific purposes to which you object.
  • If acting as a legal representative: a notarized power of attorney or equivalent instrument evidencing the representation.

If your request does not meet the stated requirements, the Company will notify you within 5 (five) business days of receipt identifying which omissions or deficiencies must be corrected before the request can be processed.

7. Response Timelines

Meet Digital Services will respond to your request within a maximum of 20 (twenty) business days from the date on which the complete request, with all requirements fulfilled, was received.

If the request is found valid, we will fulfill it within 15 (fifteen) business days following the date on which our response is communicated. In duly justified exceptional cases, the Company may extend these timelines as permitted by the LFPDPPP, with timely notice to you.

Our response will be sent to the same email address from which you submitted the request, unless you specify an alternative contact method.

8. Appeal to INAI

If you believe your request has not been properly handled or that Meet Digital Services' response does not satisfy the exercise of your rights, you have the right to file a complaint or appeal with the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI), the regulatory authority for personal data protection in Mexico.

For further information on INAI procedures, please visit the official INAI website.
